I worry a lot, especially about ridiculous things. But everyone does, even those who pretend they don't. So we could actually all stop worrying...
Today I went to my walk-in hairdresser where you can't choose which one of them will cut your hair, some are very good and some aren't really, and I wasn't lucky this time...

Something for Illustration Friday again after a long break. I'm a big fan of the Dixie Chicks!:o)
Today I found the skin of half a hedgehog just outside our front door. I suspect foxes, they're so LOUD with their crazy screaming at night right now they keep me from sleeping...

In the Guardian this Saturday, i.e. yesterday:
Cheesey potato nests with a river of tinned spaghetti around them...plus an optional slice of tomato added for nutrition...:o)
I kind of stopped eating potatoes again except for sweet potatoes and wheat isn't doing me good so I will probably never get the chance to try this at home...
My favourite drink at the moment: Red Bull sugar free, or anything with ice cubes, Peach ice tea wouldn't be bad either but couldn't find it here yet.

Summer weather in London...:o)
These are some sketches I made with my new selection of oil pastels.
My favourite place to live in the world at the moment would be Austin, Texas
My favourite food to eat right now is strawberries with soya cream
My favourite thing to do would be sitting in a wind sheltered garden and walk dogs at sunset

-> I've been neglecting my News project, of course, I saw it coming as I also needed to go out and shop for food sometimes or to buy washing powder at the corner store, walk the dog or run through some thunderstorms in an empty field just inbetween working really hard. I could do grocery shopping online instead of schlepping family sized Sainsbury bags uphill I thought but then, the human body isn't designed to sit at the desk all day...I really believe that running a few miles a day is necessary to function well mentally, so I need to fit it in and the News project becomes neglected. I might not be very good at Time Management. I don't know how time can be managed in different ways than just do the things in random order anyway but maybe that's something to look into...again more hours at the desk for unnecessary crap like that! It's sunny, hence the BBC forecast sketch above and I will probably spend a quick break outside now.:o)

We had some real warm spring weather in Germany where I went to see my family and Imke, and to continue working lots, collect birthday presents :o), and to have my eyes checked (for free over there, unbelievable that the amount I saved - £40 - already paid for the plane ticket!) at 2 different opticians which led to 2 different results.
I went with the one that didn't involve choosing and buying any glasses but more tests and I got some eye gel drops for people who work at computers a lot. I'll have a test again maybe in half a year, I never really had one since my driving test and it never occurred to me that this is important especially if you use your eyes so much.
